Matt Groening was born on February 15 1954 in Oregon, he was the middle out of five children. Before electronics were made, In 1978 Groening described life in Los Angeles to his friends for his self-published comic book "Life in Hell" which is the book of creation in whicyh he made his first profssional cartoon sale to the avantgarde Wet magazine in 1978.
