Messi would start his journey of futbol in Argentina at age 5. He was on a club team
coahced by his dad. Then at age 11 he moved to a new club. A little while later he
was diagnosed with growth hormone deficiency. His family could not pay the bill
of 500 dollars each month to get him the treatment. He was devastated.
Until one day, a futbol club named FC Barcelona recognize his talent
and offered him to move to Spain and pay for the treatment. He and his family
ended up moving to Spain. He would start playing for their youth team.
He quickly ended up playing on the professinal B team where he averaged over
one goal a game. Next he would become the third youngest player to play for FCB.
In his first match at 17 year 10 monts and 7 days old. He became he youngest
person to score in FCB history.
