quarter pound of beef 1 peace american cheese
pretzile bun 1 slice tomato

Instructions

Prepare the Patties – Form ground beef into patties, about ½–¾ inch thick. – Season both sides with salt and pepper (or any favorite seasoning). Heat the Pan or Grill – Warm a skillet, griddle, or grill over medium-high heat. – Add a bit of oil if using a pan. Cook the Patties – Place the patties on the hot surface. – Cook for 3–4 minutes on each side for medium, or longer if you prefer them more done. Add the Cheese – During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese (cheddar works great!) on each patty. – Cover with a lid or close the grill to melt the cheese. Toast the Pretzel Buns – Slice the pretzel buns and place them cut-side down on the pan or grill for 1–2 minutes until lightly toasted. Assemble the Burger – Spread your favorite sauce (mayo, mustard, burger sauce) on the bottom bun. – Add the cheesy patty. – Layer on toppings like lettuce, tomato, onion, or pickles. – Place the top pretzel bun on last.
