Dance Mommy & Me Dance Ages 1.5 - 3 years Wednesdays 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm This is an introductory dance class for you and your little one. Dancers will be introduced to ballet and creative movement which include: the learning of basic steps, learning how to follow directions and large motor movements. Props and music enable you to help your young dancer to use their imagination, creativity, and have fun with DANCE! $29 per 4-week session Min 3/Max 8

Introduction To Dance Ages 3 - 5 years Wednesdays 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm A basic introduction to dance. Styles learned will include ballet, jazz and hip/hop. Dancers will love to plie, passé, kicks, echappe, and jazz hands. Techniques will expand from large motor movements and begin working on fine motor skills to introduce young dancers to the different styles of dance. Dancers will also learn basic steps and terminology in all styles taught. $29 per 4-week session Min 3/Max 10

Intermediate Dance - Coming Soon! Advanced Dance Ages 10 - 16 years Tuesdays 7:30 - 8:30 pm Must have completed Intermediate Dance or tested with the instructor A class teaching more difficult skills in ballet, jazz, and hip/hop style dance which includes jazz turns and jumps. This class will be ideal for anyone looking to join a dance team or cheerleading, or keep their skills sharp during the off season. Age appropriate music will be used. $46 per 4-week session Min 3/Max 12

Tumbling Tumbling I Ages 3.5 - 8 years Tuesdays 6:30 - 7:15 pm or Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:15 pm An introductory class to all things TUMBLING! Basic skills will include: forward/backward rolls, cartwheels, bridges, flexibility skills, etc. will be mastered. Tumblers will learn how to properly and safely execute every single move, wanting to cartwheel everywhere they go! $35 per 4-week session Min 4/Max 10

Tumbling II Ages 8 - 18 years Tuesdays 7:15 - 8:15 pm An advanced tumbling class that focuses on mastering skills of front/back walkovers, headstands, handstands, round offs, front/back handsprings, etc. Whether you want to get ready for next year's cheer season, or you simply just want to master some fun tricks, this class has it all! $59 per 4-week session Min 4/Max 12

Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Hinckley Parks & Recreation is very excited to be partnering with Second Chance Cardiac Solutions again for this program! Are you thinking about starting a career in babysitting? This fun, interactive class teaches babysitting basics and is designed to focus on supervising, caring for and keeping children and infants safe in babysitting settings. Learn fundamental information in the business of babysitting, proper supervision, basic caregiving skills and how to respond properly to ill or injured children or infants. This class also includes practice in CPR and relief of choking. All materials provided.
