Welcome to the Gamer's Nexus. This page is meant to teach n00bs how to build a pc. First of all, your going to need parts. I reccomend 9 parts to build a computer.

1. Motherboard
-This is the piece that holds everything else together. It connects all of your other parts

2. CPU
-This is what gives the system it's instructions and allows your computer to function

3. GPU
-This can assist the CPU in completing tasks and help your computer render images or "graphics"

4. RAM
-This acts as "food" for the CPU. Having too little will limit your system, but having too much doesn't mean you will have better preformance and will not affect your system.

5. Storage (Hard drive/SSD)
-Both of these drives are used for storage but SSD's will often be more expensive and have less storage space, but they would be faster. I would reccomend getting a small SSD for your operating system and a hard disc drive for the rest of your storage.

6. CPU Cooler
-This is not essential, but if you have a good processor you will need a good cooler to keep it from overheating.

7. Thermal Paste
-This is to mount the CPU cooler to the CPU in order to maximize surface area coverage and cooling

8. Power Supply
-This is used to power your system

9. Case
-This will help protect and cool your system

Now with all of this information you will need to know how to put it all together
