Introduction
General Eisenhower was born on October 14, 1890 and went on to plan two of the most important operations in WW2, Operation Torch during the North Africa campain in 1942-1943, and the invasion of Normandy in 1944. He also went on to become the 34th president of the United States, where he sent 700 millitary personnel as well as military aid to the South Veitnamese government in 1955.
